LISD wrestlers invade state tourney

A record 10 wrestlers from Leander ISD went to state last year, with five named All-State, led by Vista Ridge's Carrie Clark and Bryan Osorio.
Clark, now a nationally ranked wrestler at Oklahoma City University, won her second-straight state championship while Osorio finished as a state runner-up in his weight class.
Also finishing All-State was Chris Bowling of Vista Ridge along with Cedar Park's Cody Frankum and Jamie Moore.
Frankum won six matches at state to finish fifth, while Moore wrestled to a sixth place finish in her weight class.
Vista Ridge's Brandon Sheldon and Abel Suarez also reached state, along with Cedar Park's Dante Reynolds and Leander's Devon Levlon.
The previous four, along with Frankum, Moore and Osorio, return this year.
