Preschoolers at Leander's newest childcare center eagerly welcomed storyteller George Denny, who visited The Goddard School on Thursday. Denny, longtime Leander resident, entertained the children with songs, ukulele music, and a bilingual crocodile puppet.
“The program George Denny presented tied in perfectly with our school-wide monthly theme of animals,” said Lisa Barker, the school's educational director. “The children were delighted with the books he read, and we are all looking forward to his next visit.”
The Goddard School is located at 1730 Union Street near E. Crystal Falls Parkway, Leander. It is a private preschool serving children 6 weeks to 6 years of age. For more information or to schedule a tour, call Linda Nieman at 528-1918.
