Cedar Park's game three magic in the playoffs continued against Bryan, getting a 2-1 win to wrap up the best-of-three regional quarterfinal series.

Cedar Park (26-15) moves on to the Region II semifinals, drawing top-ranked Plano West (34-0).

Game one is set for 5:30 p.m. at Baylor University on Friday. Game two will start at 2 p.m. at Baylor on Saturday, with game three following 30 minutes after, if needed.

Game 1: Cedar Park 11, Bryan 6

Cedar Park rallied from a 6-2 deficit with nine runs in the sixth inning, powering the Timberwolves to an opening game win.

Fourteen batters came to the plate in the inning, with the big blow coming on a three-run double by Junior Coronado to give Cedar Park a 9-6 lead.

Hunter Bailey (2-for-4), Matt Ferguson, Patrick Cochran (2-for-4) and Nathan Thornhill also had RBI hits in the frame.

The scoring outburst made a winner out of Britt Robertshaw, as he scattered eight hits and struck out five in seven innings for the win.

Game 2: Bryan 6, Cedar Park 1

Strong relief pitching by Billy Bernhard kept the T'wolves in the game, but the Vikings scored four times in the sixth inning to put the game away.

Bernhard kept the game close, pitching five-plus innings with two strikeouts and six hits allowed.

Cedar Park's lone run was scored in the first inning, with Coronado plating Bailey on a groundout.

Matt Arellano finished the game 2-for-3 with a double.

Game 3: Cedar Park 2, Bryan 1

Thornhill shined on the mound, striking out five in seven innings to help Cedar Park to the win.

The T'wolves grabbed a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning, with Arellano laying down a sacrifice bunt to plate the winning run.

Outfielder Sean Lutz, however, had the play of the game as he threw out the tying run at the plate with two outs in the seventh inning to end the game and the series.
