Haecker earns Eagle Scout

Alex Haecker of Cedar Park was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor held at Bethany United Methodist Church on March 15.
Alex is a member of Bethany's Boy Scout Troop 146 under the leadership of Scoutmaster Robert Caster. Pamela Kirk of the Troop 146 Scout Committee delivered the Eagle Scout charge and officiated the Court of Honor proceedings under the auspices of the Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Eagle Scout Steven Heflin served as Master of Ceremonies, and color guard duties were performed by Eagle Scout Patrick Hogan and Life Scout Zack Heflin.
For his Eagle Service Project Haecker planned, managed and acquired private funding for a much-needed building renovation for the benefit of the Handicapped Equestrian Learning Program (HELP) of Manor, Texas. Alex is the son of (Eagle Scout) Mike and Janice Haecker of Cedar Park and Jean and William Pruitt of Edmond, Okla.
He will attend the University of Texas this fall as an engineering honors student, majoring in aerospace engineering.
