Concordia v-ball loses in ASC play

The Concordia volleyball team lost in its most recent action last Friday against McMurry University by scores of 25-14, 25-21, 23-25, 25-11.

The loss drops Concordia to 5-15 in American Southwest Conference play and 9-17 overall.

Outside hitter Kevyn Jackson posted a double-double of 15 kills and 14 digs to lead the Tornados.

Also playing well for Concordia were: Juli Applewhaite (9 kills, 16 assists), Sara Keithley (18 digs, the current ASC leader in digs) and 19 assists from Valerie Martinez.

Concordia played Southwestern on Tuesday and will close ASC play against Sul Ross State on Friday.
