Nutcracker Tea Party to begin at Leander Library on Dec. 13

Legacy Voices announces the 2008 season opening and second annual performance of the Nutcracker Tea Party. This performance kicks off a 2008-09 performance season that includes professional performers in adapted versions of “The Nutcracker” and “Peter and the Wolf.” The season also includes Art Under the Stars, a showcase of youth arts.
The Nutcracker Tea Party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, in conference room C of the Leander Public Library, located at 1011 South Bagdad Road in Leander. The performance will feature Catherine King of the Corpus Christi Ballet in her 23rd performance as the Sugarplum Fairy and Atticus Rodriguez of Ballet East as The Prince. The performance also marks the premier performance of Emma Steiner as Clara.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children (4 to 12 years old). The ticket price includes entry to the performance and buffet service of full high tea. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.legacyvoices.com/tickets or by calling (512) 638-3328.
