OBITUARY - Amy Lynn Carrell

Amy Lynn Carrell

Amy Lynn Carrell, 15, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on Nov. 24, 2008. She was a freshman at Leander High School, where she was a member of the ROTC. Amy was an active member of the RockPointe Church in Leander.

Amy is survived by her parents, Carol and Richard Carrell of Cedar Park; sister, Jessica Carrell of Cedar Park; brother, William Richardson of Cedar Park; nephew, Donte Richardson; grandmothers, Sue Amendola of McKinney, Texas, and Louise Cannon of Virginia; grandfather, Thomas Carrell of Mesquite, Texas; great-grandmother, Dorothy Self of McKinney, Texas; uncle, Steve Carrell of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her church family at RockPointe.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Beck Funeral Home, with Rev. Shayne O'Brien officiating.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Dell Children's Hospital and her teachers at Artie Henry and Leander middle schools for all the care that they gave Amy.

A memorial account has been established in Amy's name at Frost Bank, 10915 Pecan Park Blvd., Austin, TX, 78750.
