Smith/Kessler

Mr. Gary Smith of Lubbock is pleased to announce the engagement of his daughter, Aja K. Smith, to Grant A. Kessler, son of Carl and Brenda Kessler of Austin.

Aja is a graduate of Lubbock High School and received her degree from Texas Tech University. She is an art teacher at Leander Middle School.

Grant graduated from Westwood High School, received his bachelor's degree from Southwestern University and his master's degree from Concordia University Texas. He is a teacher at Leander Middle School.

The couple plans to be married on May 2, 2009, at the Merket Alumni Center in Lubbock, Texas.
