Notice to Proposers:

Pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code, Section 271.113, it is the intention of the City of Cedar Park [the City] to select, via the Request for Proposal process, a Construction Manager-at-Risk for the construction of the City of Cedar Park Fire Station #1 as generally described herein. The project includes pre-construction and construction services for a new fire station to be located on a 1.7 acre site. It is estimated to be approximately 9,000 square feet and the site work will include 20 parking spaces with a construction estimate of approximately $2,000,000.

Sealed Proposals addressed to the City of Cedar Park, 600 N. Bell, Cedar Park, TX 78613, for furnishing Construction Management at Risk Services for the project titled, “City of Cedar Park Fire Station #1” will be received until 2:00 pm local time, July 29, 2009. Proposal envelopes should state “Construction Management at Risk Proposal for City of Cedar Park Fire Station #1”.

Proposals are to include the specific qualification information requested in the sequence and format prescribed in the Proposal Packet that may be obtained from PBS&J, 6504 Bridge Point Parkway, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78730. Packets will be available beginning July 9, 2009. In case of ambiguity, duplication or obscurity in the proposals, the City of Cedar Park reserves the right to construe the meaning thereof. The City of Cedar Park also reserves the right to waive any and all formalities and to reject any or all Proposals.
