A new location of the nationally acclaimed Children's Lighthouse Learning Center will open in Cedar Park next year.

The learning center, which is hailed for its values-based early learning programs, will open at 2501 Brushy Creek Rd. It will be the second Lighthouse Learning Center in Cedar Park.

Noor Attia and her siblings, Ahmed, Alla and Tesneem will be operating the new Cedar Park learning center. The Noor siblings have backgrounds in early education and business management, and deep-rooted values in quality child care.

"The demand is growing for education," Noor Attia said. "We’re thrilled with the opportunity to introduce families in our community to the unique Children’s Lighthouse experience."

The new Cedar Park Children's Lighthouse Learning Center will cover 11,000 square feet and be able to provide ample space for children to learn in classroom and group settings.  There will also be large children's play areas both inside and outside the learning center.

Attia said an on-site kitchen will offer freshly prepared, healthy meals daily for students. Children’s Lighthouse serves families with kids just a few weeks old to 12 years old. In addition to child care during traditional school hours, highly interactive after-school programs and summer camps are available to kids up to age 12.

"Children’s Lighthouse will serve a very special need in our community," said Ahmed Attia. "We will be providing parents a place where they can feel confident that their children are safe and secure, while developing priceless and lasting learning habits. Our Lighthouse will offer individualized care in a loving and nurturing environment, providing parents with the utmost sense of security that their child is being cared for.”

Children's Lighthouse Learning Centers are safe and secure environments that give parents peace of mind with online video links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

After starting 22 years ago in Ft. Worth, there are currently 45 Lighthouse Learning Centers nationwide with another 25 being developed.
