Cedar Park Council to consider utility fees, smoking ordinance

The Cedar Park City Council will hold public hearings Thursday on the latest updates to the city's Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvement Plan, which are used to calculate the city's water and wastewater impact fees, and on how much they increase those fees based on those updates. The council will also consider a follow-up discussion requested by Council member Rodney Robinson's regarding the city's smoking regulations, including whether the city should regulate smoking in restaurant's outdoor seating areas.Lastly, the council will consider a "discussion of (the) development located at 120 South Lakeline Boulevard." While the agenda item didn't provide further information on what would be discussed about it during the meeting, several objections to the development being built at the location were raised at the Dec. 5, 2019, council meeting by neighbor residents.
