Credit card scammers last seen in Leander


The Leander Police Department is asking residents to help identify two suspects after they were recorded using a stolen credit card. Two suspects are alleged to have taken a Leander resident’s wallet early last month near US 183 and Airport Blvd.

According to the Leander Police Department, the suspects used the victim's credit card shortly after at a location about five minutes away from where the victim was robbed.

Police say that the first suspect is described as a white male with dark hair, approximately 6 feet tall and about 20 years old. He was seen on camera wearing a Chicago Bulls t-shirt and glasses. 

The second suspect is described as a white woman with dark hair, also approximately 20 years old. She was seen wearing a green top and is reported to be about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Leander police said that, after using the card, the two suspects left the gas station in a silver Mazda Sedan.
