Officials say Andrews met victim at church

A former Leander ISD teacher has been accused of sexual assault of a child and an inappropriate relationship with a minor, according to the Williamson County sheriff’s office.

Nicole Andrews, a former Cedar Park Middle School teacher, was arrested on Dec. 12 for allegedly having an improper relationship with a minor, whom she met as a volunteer youth administrator at Church at Canyon Creek. The church is at 9001 FM 620 in Northwest Austin.

Andrews allegedly had been having an ongoing relationship with the victim. The victim did not attend Cedar Park Middle School, according to the release.
