PostNet in Leander is turning 10 years old – a significant milestone for the printing and shipping small business that opened at 651 N. US Highway 183 on Feb. 12, 2007, just two weeks before the opening of Leander’s first grocery store: The H-E-B Plus superstore.
The Leander small business opened its doors 10 years ago in February as the first business in the H-E-B shopping center. A decade later, the Leander small business has undergone expansion, adding new equipment to continue to serve the professional printing needs of local businesses throughout Leander, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, Jonestown, Lago Vista and Burnet.
“Despite the economic challenges over the years, PostNet has been steadily growing, thanks to the constant support of the local business community,” said Alan Yore, owner of PostNet in Leander, who has lived in nearby Cedar Park for the past 21 years.
PostNet offers construction companies, restaurants and other local businesses a wide range of high-quality digital printing services with a quick turnaround, including business cards, blueprints, custom carbonless business forms, and labels; packaging and shipping with UPS, FedEx, DHL and the U.S. Postal Service; and ancillary business services, like private mailbox rental.
Yore is a member of the Leander Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Adjustment and a member of the Planning Commission in Cedar Park.
Prior to owning a PostNet franchise, Yore owned an architectural and engineering firm with offices in Texas and Illinois for nearly 40 years.
