The third week of the LISD 7-on-7 league took place at Cedar Park on Tuesday evening. Cedar Park hosted Rouse, Vandegrift, Vista Ridge, Leander, and Austin Anderson.

Vista Ridge and Rouse highlighted the first round of games on Tuesday before the Raiders faced off with Vandegrift in the second matchup of the evening.

The Vipers and Cedar Park, who will meet in Week 2 of the regular season this September, battled in the third game. Vandegrfit won by less than a touchdown and the game ended with the Timberwolves stalled on the five yard-line.

The final week of league play will take place next Tuesday, June 20 and features District 19-5A rivals Rouse against Cedar Park and sees Vandegrfit go against Vista Ridge in a battle of two playoff teams from a year ago.

The league at Cedar Park is not a state qualifying tournament, but each team will participate in one over the course of the summer. The state tournament take place from June 29-July 1 in College Station.
