Sheriff asks permission to enter loan contract for ATV; Commissioners say no

In the middle of the budget year, the Williamson County Sheriff's Department asked Williamson County Commissioners permission for a lease-purchase agreement for a new ATV. Commissioners said no. Indeed, the idea didn't even get enough support to go to a vote. Williamson County Commissioner Cynthia Long's motion to approve the contract didn't even get a second.
