Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) will temporarily close its Cedar Park office beginning Nov. 1 for renovations. The utility cooperative says the updates will allow it to better serve its members in that area.
Located at 1949 W. Whitestone Blvd., the office will temporarily close its lobby, drive-thru lanes and the payment drop box until the project is complete. The Cedar Park planning department will also be unavailable during the renovation.
PEC members are encouraged to visit the Liberty Hill office at 10625 W. Hwy. 29 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The co-op says members may also conduct business in a variety of other convenient ways during the temporary closure:
• Online at pec.coop.
• Through the SmartHub mobile app.
• By speaking with one of PEC’s agents at 888-554-4732.
• Through PEC’s secure payment line at 844-886-9798.
• Through PEC’s power outage line at 888-883-3379 or its outage map at outages.pec.coop.
In a news release, PEC said it plans to share the reopening date toward the completion of the project.
