Robert, a resident of Cedar Park, passed away unexpectedly at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin on Dec. 5, 2017. He has joined his mother, Doris Stewart, who passed away one month prior. He was also preceded in death by his younger brother, Richard Stewart.
Robert is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jennifer, three beautiful daughters, Rebecca Lynne Stewart, Cailyn Faith Stewart and Alexandra Grace Stewart, as well as his brothers, Raymond Stewart and Wesley Stewart and their families, his In-Laws Judy and Richard Talbot, sister-in-law Tiffany Handberry and her family, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Robert was always proud to have served his country in the U. S. Army. While stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, he commanded an M1 Abrams tank in the 1st Armored Division.
He was blessed with many talents from storytelling to writing, singing, painting, as well as film and stage production. For more than 20 years, his ability to gather many people together and create beautiful productions has left a great impact on many in the Cedar Park/Austin community. His contributions include the annual production of ‘Follow The Star’, film production of ‘The Woodsman’, and many others.
He had a strong faith in God and left this journey in life with the love and dedication of many family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held in January, 2018.
