Rouse RockNRides Car Show will take place March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This annual show benefits the Rouse Raider High School Band Boosters. Expect music, food and prizes. Everyone and anything on wheels is encouraged to come out.

Event organizer Shawn Jones anticipates between 300 and 400 cars to show up to show off.

“We expect 1,000 to 1,500 spectators,” he said. “It’s a chance to come out and support the Rouse Band.”

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event. Aerosmith’s drummer, Joey Kramer, will have his Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee on site for people who need a caffeine boost.

The event will take place at Gupton Stadium in Cedar Park.

“It’s a new location and a bigger and better venue,” Jones said.

All proceeds from Rouse RockNRides Car Show go toward the Rouse Raider High School Band Boosters.

State Representative Tony Dale, Leander Mayor Chris Fielder, Leander Police Chief Greg Minton, Cedar Park Police Chief Sean Mannix, Rouse High School’s namesake Charlie Rouse, Rouse High School Principal Christine Simpson and Hill Country News Editor Ashley Sava will be judging the car show.
