Woman shot in parked car near Lakeline Mall


The Austin Police Department is investigating the shooting of a teenage girl who was in the middle of entering a SUV with friends while outside the Homegoods store at the Lakeline Mall, according to initial reporting by Fox 7 – KTBC.

The report states the woman was entering the vehicle with family and friends around 7:34 p.m. Saturday when a dark color sedan pulled up, with multiple people inside, and at least four shots were fired.

The woman was reportedly shot in the back and has been transported to St. David’s Round Rock with life-threatening injuries.
