So many have been impacted by cancer. Have you been impacted by cancer? Do you know someone who has been impacted by cancer? Join us to honor, remember and celebrate ALL who have been impacted by cancer. This event also honors Jamsz Konnections' founder who is celebrating twenty (20) years of being cancer-free.

Join Top five NBC show, "The VOICE" contestant, Jershika Maple as headliner along with Austin local musicians Wendy Colonna and Stephen Jones for a night of fun and entertainment.

Jershika Maple
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jershika Maple began her journey and love for singing at a young age in the Children's choir at her church. Being in a Military family gave Jershika the chance to expand her musical ear by experiencing different cultures, genres and styles of music in all parts of the world. She eventually planted her feet in Killeen, Texas where she currently resides with her family, and serves as a worship leader, singer, songwriter, actor and vocal coach.

Jershika's accolades include touring, traveling and working with national and international artists showcasing her gift as a background singer. Such artists include Grammar and Stellar Award Winner John P Kee, Grammy Nominated Zacardi Cortez, Amber Bullock, and to most recently singing bgvs for Rose Short, who was Season 17s Top 4 Finalist on "The Voice", which lead her into her own journey to audition for season 21 of NBC's The Voice, where she became Top 5 Finalist on the show with Team Legend. This opportunity also landed her a #10 Spot on Billboard top 100 Gospel Digital Sale Chart with the performance of "God Only Knows" on the Show, Jershika has also starred in four stage plays in the Texas area.

Jershika released her first single "Let God Take You Higher" in 2019 followed by the release "I Give" in May of 2021 produced by Dove Award Nominee David D1 Grant.
Her Current single which is a cover of the late Natalie Cole's "Inseparable" is now rising on the Jazz Charts.
Jershika's sultry and raspy voice is invited by Jazz undertones and Gospel Soul roots mixed with an amazing range.

Stephen Jones
Stephen is a musician from LaGrange, Tx who enjoys sharing his love of music with others. He was introduced to music at a young age and started by becoming active in local school and church ensembles. This passion was further fueled as he went on to study at East Texas Baptist University and became a member of various ensembles, including the university symphonic band and concert choir. After graduating with a degree in education he continued to lead worship and perform in church until moving to Austin in 2012. Since then, he’s performed sporadically in the area at local open mics while also posting content online. He is very excited about getting back on stage following the COVID-19 pandemic and looks forward to continuing this journey during the years to come.

Wendy Colonna
Wendy Colonna is a seasoned troubadour and a new mother who hails from the gulf coast of Louisiana and has called central Texas home since 2000. The Austin-American Statesman calls her “a force of nature” and the New York Times cited her sound as “ethereal.”
Wendy's songs echo soulful tales of joy, reclaimed innocence, joy, loss and celebration. Her resonant, signature, grit-infused-honey voice can move from a sweet whisper to a full-on bayou-soul-shout without skipping a beat.

Tracks from Wendy’s most recent release "No Moment But Now” (2017) were simultaneously featured on Apple· Music's "Hot Tracks" and "Breaking Singer Songwriter playlist, and Spotify's "Fresh Folk" playlist. In 2016, Wendy received a Black Fret Major Grant and in 2017 she was selected as a Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Finalist.

In January 2017, Wendy was invited to lend her uplifting, anthemic songs to to the Austin Women's March with 60,000 in attendance. She was also invited to emcee and perform Austin's Earth Day Festivities. Wendy has had the honor of sharing the stage with legends like Mavis Staples, Delbert McClinton, Edgar Winter, Jeff Buckley and more.

In addition to her live-performance career, Wendy has been writing and producing award-winning custom songs for advertisement for clients like Coca-Cola and Southwest Louisiana Visitors Bureau. The Coca-Cola song, "A Happy Song" topped AdWeek upon its debut and "My Southwest Louisiana Home" took home several ADDY awards.

Wendy currently lives in San Marcos Texas with her husband, mother, two amazing stepchildren and her baby boy, Charlie. On top of touring, family and regional performances she and collaborator, Mark Addison are the owners of Tips Concerts, a house-concert venue in southeast Austin where they host fall and spring shows.
