Retirement community no longer allowed to hold church services

“For 91 years, I’ve never been denied a place to worship,” 14-year resident at The Ranch at Cedar Park Jean Hinkle said. “It’s never been taken away.” Residents were told last Friday via a community newsletter that church services were no longer allowed to gather anywhere on the premises, other than in their own apartments. “In the newsletter, it said you can’t come here to worship anymore, you can worship in your apartments,” Hinkle said. “That’s not the same.”
